Packet activo en el satélite Prism
Packet AX25 activo en el satélite PRISM

El equipo que desarrolló el satélite Prism ha anunciado que está activo el repetidor de Packet para el uso de radioaficionados durante las pasadas de la tarde.
El satélite fue construido por la Universidad de Tokio y lanzado el 23 de enero de 2009 en una órbita de 660 por 670 km. Utiliza AX.25 packet radio y ahora puede utilizarse por radioaficionados como una casilla de mensajes tipo almacena y reenvía (store-and-forward).
